Common… place
We are not aware in truth
or essentially
what another person sees and feels
in their perceptions of the universe.
Art provides
triggers of hope that
in what we see
there are commonalities.
Commonalities in the perceptions of people
and beauty exists in the realm of those perceptions.
In this way
a poem
may provide
a keen
observation
that develops
one’s emotions
in a way
that is shared,
a way that is common.
